"by the way speaking of 'American Values'  – aren't we about due to start bombing some small country that only has a marginally effective air force? Seems to me like we're a couple of weeks overdue to drop high explosives on helpless civilians – people that have no argument with us whatsoever. I think we ought to be out there doing what we do best gang  – makin' big holes in other peoples' countries."

Listening to a censored George, is like having sex with a beautiful woman in the dark, it will get you there but
you are missing half the fun.

I have always loved and respected George Carlin going back to buying his album AMFM in the early 60s (showing my age) my favorite piece of advice is to write every idea down and organize yourself.

the irony that you cencored George

  • angela bluebird60

He was NOT known at the beginning and middle of his career for, "black," humor, he was anti Establishment and
just plain funny. After his wife passed away, his anger and upset came to the forefront. "Wonderful WINO, the
Big Sound in the Big Town,", "Farts are fun, farts are funny,", "Now I'll repair to my lair and use Nair, do you care?"
    Nope, not black humor.

  • Harpreet Singh

Diehard Carlin fans should know he did not care about "success," in the terms of how this video is presented. He despised big business and the capitalist brainwashing of the public into becoming "successful," which basically means making money. He despised money and greed. Carlin was a utmost realist and hated people who tried to motivate others or improve their self esteem. He was far more concerned of the social conditions people grew up in. He would have been disgusted by the manipulation of his work into a business agenda.
