Damn, that gatekeeper lady was annoying. Just shut up and let chaos reign. The people have every RIGHT to be angry. Stop trying to mediate emotions for your white masters sake. Let the truth out. We know the deal. After MLK's assassination and the attempts among radical blacks to unify, crack was funneled into those communities. Point, period, blank. We didn't fly that shit into this country, it was allowed in. Then of course, a select few crabs were allowed to profit from its distribution and that's all she wrote. Addiction, mass incarceration and death ensue. You cannot believe how many people were arrested for being addicted to that stuff; given felonies that prevented them from making much of anything of themselves without additional hurdles. Broken homes. Broken families. Gangs that were formed to protect their neighborhoods from police brutality and other threats were now corrupted by drug trafficking. Now they're no more than brutal terrorists towards their neighbors. The most vulnerable among us were and are still heavily exploited while rich elites continue to lie and count their golden coins. And they profit in SO many ways. It's not just the private prison industry, it's prison labor for major corporations, it's fatherless sons, outfitted with pain and struggle, to be used on the football and basketball fields. It's rappers spewing murder and misogyny to the youth, who get paychecks from white-owned record companies. Everywhere they profit from our struggle, our desire to succeed and even our failures or deaths. But now you have your regular poor to mid-class whites dropping dead from heroin overdoses and NOW they want to end the war on drugs. NOW, they realize that it's a failure when it was build to fail us and only profit THEM.
