the foundation of morality as we know it is because of evolution. without our social rules, we would not be the species we are today. the only reason morality seems the ‘best’ or ‘necessary’ way is because our species is a product of it’s usage. for other animals, different rules apply. think of it like ‘good’ food to a dung beetle is dung. to us that’s nasty, but the beetle evolved to find it good. regardless of species, with our level of thought dynamic, it will think it’s ‘divine’ reason.
I think if it was in a lions nature to kill it’s own kind the species wouldn’t make it very far. FAIL. LMAO.

It isn’t about perception… There is no definite right and wrong. There is human opinion on right and wrong but that’s it. Here’s a better analogy; If a lion kills a lion cub, not to eat it but to show dominance over the group, is that immoral?
Our perception of right an wrong will not change. LOL. It’s not that hard to understand. Your analogy wasn’t a very good one. The lion kills the gazelle for the same reason we kill cows. With or without god most DON’T consider that “Wrong” unless they’re vegan. So how about you use a better analogy? One that actually helps your argument instead of making you look even crazier.

I appreciate the sentiments of your video (although section 3 was a bit one sided) however I think that the discussions taking place in this very forum proves that we are not as tolerant of each others beliefs as one might want. I see a lot of disrespectful comments coming from both sides here. Truly we have a long way to go to achieve even your first section.

God is supposed to be all good yet he can’t seem to avoid doing the very things he himself says are evil. Why would he have evil traits if he’s all good?
Because HE creates the rules for US to follow. If God went and destroyed a whole city, it is not immoral for him to do so, becuase the only moral responsibility is on US PEOPLE

Deuteronomy 28:53 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters.
The last one was my favorite. How come if god says something it’s moral? LOL. He could do anything , and Christians say. “his ways are higher than ours” Well he sure don’t act like it. Does global infanticide sound like a solution to any rational, loving, empathetic person? I doubt it.

It’s not a point of view… It’s a fact. If we are all just animals, there is no right and wrong. There is nothing to govern what is right and what is wrong.
