@rockklimber24 Takes more faith to believe in psuedo science. Psychology and Evolution. And even more faith to believe in Astrology, or Islam, or a Sun god, or a Moon god, or the Great Hope Spirit, or the Democrat god, Or the Republican god, or the Socialist god, or the Great Wise Man on the mountain god, or the Communist spirit. Whatever god you believe in is your business in the U.S. That’s what makes America Great. Go to Iran and try practicing the Myan religion in public.
This guy is talking like if he really knows what is he talking about. He is just trying to make fun of the Jews people. And he thinks that because he has airconditioner he is smarter than the people from poor countries that dont have it. God forgive him he doesnt know whats he talking about. He is a lazy guy who makes his living by making people laugh. Blessed the people who believe in God without seeing him.
Is the moment you put asside rational thinking. If somebody told you there was an invisible goblin behind mars you wouldn’t be so quick to accept it as truth. Belief is brought on by emotion. Having “faith” means looking for a reason to confirm god’s existance when something good happens. Desperation, fear, hope are the things that cause people to believe. It’s the feeling of not being in control. And not wanting to accept that there is no invisible buddy up in the sky watching out for you
Not only is it ridiculous when people get brainwashed man in a cult.. it’s more ridiculous that they are brainwashed to believe their leader, who’s invisible is perfect. Faith means waiting for a reason to justify the existance of god. Religion tells you god works in mysterious ways.. not immediately after you pray, because he’s not there. Religion tells you that he can do anything and everything, and that you just aren’t smart enough to understand his ways. The moment you accept that BS
Religion is brain washing plain and simple. Religion tells you that you have a hole to fill, and that only god can do it. They tell you that basically god is perfect in every way, and you’re just a piece of shit next to him. Basically lower you and raise an authority figure. Same way a cult starts. Break you so they can make you more likely to program the bullshit into your subconscious. Praying (repeating shit to yourself) is to try to get it to sink in by repitition. It’s brainwashing.

On hair length: 1 Corinthans 11 3-15

On nonbelievers going to hell: 2 Peter 3
On sexuality: Leviticus 20, Romans 1: 26-32, 1 Corinthians 7: 1-7
On execution of prisoners of war, rape as a weapon: Numbers 31, 1-54
My personal favorite: Judges 19: 1-29
Remember that this is all supposed to be dictated from the creator of the entire universe, who has seen stars collapse millions of times. This is what he does for fun – smell burning animals and watch genocide.
Moral values, like remembering to always kill prisoners of war, but you can go ahead and rape their daughters if they’re still virgins. And that anyone who believes differently from you, or has the wrong haircut, or likes different kinds of sex will be tortured until the end of time, but you get to kiss ass and beg your master for safety for all eternity. And abandoning your mother or your your children to follow Jesus is a plus. And diseases are caused by demons, which God created. Sick joke.
Yep. And some people accept whatever the book says with no other input. And if you dont think about these things. You will, as you say, kill you kid without a question for instance. And I find that dangerous and those people need professional help. Sadly.
plus the punishment for most of those crimes are death. I kid u not, the old testament says if your teenager tries to seek emancipation, or tries to be their own person, u HAVE to kill ur own child for the sake of god
