I find Dawkins to be just as contemptuous as Hitchens, in his own genteel way.
He’s a bulldog. We need people like him to make a stand against the irrational mass of theists that are NOT able to accept the simple FACTs of our history like evolution. The moderate theists are not the target, it’s the fundamentalists.
Hitchens is brilliant, but his rage and contempt for that which he argues against keep him from reaching the heights of lucidity that someone like Dawkins has.
