    @CBALLEN

??? You make no sense, as usual…

  2. CBALLEN says:

Lol,Hey people who live in glass houses shouldn’t be throwing their relatives.

    @CBALLEN

you are so dumb! have you ever visited a place called school? I’m surprised that you even know how to write. Your proposed thought that computers could have been made by water and rocks is just ridiculous. What an idiot!!! lol!

  4. TeflonTrout says:

Right. United States citizens voted Bush in as president (debatable, I know, but bear with me), so therefore he was a excellent leader.

I like to take the ‘mad libs’ approach to looking at arguments.

  5. zmbrevis says:

My favorite part of his argument is where he says that Muslims believe in a lie but that, for some reason, Christians have a monopoly on truth.

  6. Geoinmotion says:

I respect that this man “D’Souza” is well read, and has written books that have been taken seriously. (Though I have not read them) But, his rhetoric reeks of smuggness that reviels how much he respects his own thoughts and despised those of his enemies. In fact, he really views those others as ignoramouses. The amusing thing is that Hitchens does the same thing. The sad thing (for D’Souza) is that Hitchens happens to be right.

  7. CBALLEN says:

Well,I’m very immature for my age.

  8. leporidus says:

Anyway, Hitchens says it best right at the beginning of part 6 of this video series:

    »That was terrible, Dinesh.«

Are you really 50 years ancient as you claim you are, CBALLEN? I have the feeling you’re a tad younger, and it’s really your parents who are 50 years ancient, both their ages summed up.

  9. leporidus says:

I don’t let you constrain my answers. YouTube does a excellent enough job already, thank you.

You’re amusing. I call Poe and question you if you are a postmodernist, by any chance, CBALLEN?

  10. CBALLEN says:

I told you that man could not be your answer, and the first thing you did is claim that man is responsible for computers. How do you know that they weren’t made by water and rocks?Did you ever see the first computer built? If not,you really don’t know right?

  11. leporidus says:

Humans, and from the late 80s on, robots build by humans.

  12. CBALLEN says:

In we build them,do you mean MAN?

  13. leporidus says:

Computers can’t reproduce. We build them. Natural selection and mutation are no part of it.

  14. CBALLEN says:

leporidus , how did computers get here?…. Oh yeah, remember, what ever you say,man can’t be your answer.

  15. leporidus says:

    Non-sequitur.

  16. CBALLEN says:

Watch this,it’s real science .”Bethlehem-What was the star?”

  17. leporidus says:

What’s a dot god? The huge bang? Authors for you: Stenger, Adams and Harnik. Here be science!

That Yeshu guy apparently had 5 disciples — Matthai, Nakai, Nezer, Buni and Todah. All those names seem quite frequent in ancient Jewish literature. Doesn’t quite fit. There are some more discrepancies with 43a, as you know. See skeptically dot-org.

About your other subjects: science works. You know it, typing your comments at your networked computer.

  18. CBALLEN says:

Now,why don’t you give us proof that your “dot god” made everything, can you do that,or how about a witness to Macro-evolution,abiogenesis or any of the other things that you claim as fact, without ANY proof at all.All you guys do is claim that naturalism is all there is and someday you’ll have proof for it.That’s not science ,that’s just WISHING!

  19. CBALLEN says:

Here you go hot shot, knock yourself out.The Babylonian Talmud, transl. by I. Epstein (London: Soncino, 1935), vol. III, Sanhedrin 43a, 281

  20. leporidus says:

So you don’t have any reference. Thought so. Don’t you be so naive as to impress me with all-caps preaching.

What is asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence. Ta-ta, CBALLEN.

  21. CBALLEN says:

I know this much,if the Jews could have foreseen Christianity as the largest Faith in the world, they would have removed any connotation to Jesus. This is a FACT,just like the FACT Jesus existed and was God in flesh.

  22. leporidus says:

I guess now’s the time I better question you for a reference to where you read this. Otherwise, I dismiss your tale out of hand.

  23. CBALLEN says:

These were enemies of Christ trying to show how evil He was,in so doing, they proved that He not only existed, but that He did REAL miracles. If Jesus did not exist or do miracles, the Jews that wrote this in the Talmud would have certainly been ridiculed and these passages would have been removed.Don’t be so naive.

  24. leporidus says:

Similar textx can be cited about the Vedas, the Norse Valhalla and the tales of the Greek, Roman or native American pantheon, even of contemporary Christian critics of Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.

Negative comments about a tale don’t make the tale right by any means, CBALLEN.

  25. SlapAchristian says:

dsouza is the same exact in every debate. he dodges the questions and answers the questions with another question. he has run his course and rather repetitive.
